Native plants, where possible!
We like to think of a garden in “zones”. Zone 1 is the space close to the house and walkways. Have the plants you really love in these areas- natives, nativars, and non-natives! Zone 3 is the natural area that abuts your land- a forest edge, a wetland, or a meadow, perhaps. This zone is managed for the health of the habitat. We can help with this! Zone 2 is the space in between, where as many native plants as possible support insects, birds, pollinators, and wildlife.
Design
A Master Plan is a great idea, as it considers the entire property, avoiding costly re-do’s. But design can be as simple as gathering inspirational images to help in your creative process, creating a planting plan, or laying out hoses on the ground so you can visualize a new bed.
Installation and maintenance
We are experienced planters, pruners, and gardeners. Whether it’s a new garden or a renovation, we will make it look the way you envision it.
